My dream girl

Lokelani McMichael is hot.
And not like, lembik hot.

Born Lokelanikuu'leimakamae McMichael in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, she is a triathlete, surfer and model, and was the youngest female to finish the Hawaii Ironman at Kona when she was 18 years old. She has since finished the race nine times and has been featured in GQ, Shape, Triathlete, Runner's World and several other magazines.

Bronzed tan skin and super fit, toned bod. Yet still so feminine. But how she still has those boobs despite having such low body fat is quite amazing. Yes, yes, probably touched up digital photography, but hot nonetheless.

Waahhhh... *starstruck*
OK OK, enough about the girl.
Click here to read inspiring stories from the latest Ironman Championship in Kona, Hawaii which was on just last Saturday. From newbies winning some top spots to a double amputee completing an Ironman to a man who recovered from a near-death car accident and coma to bounce back and complete this gruelling race, they were awe-inspiring.

OH MY GAWD!

I *heart* Hairspray.
I *heart* it so much I can't say how much I *heart* it.

It's cheesy, no, corny, at times, but it's so kitsch you just gotta love it. A great ensemble of actors. Great music from an era I love. And oh, so fun. Ultra Clutch Hairspray, you rock! *heart*

Now I can't wait for September 27th to see her again.

*heart* Ugly Betty, you rock! :D

... and him, also on September 27th.

*heart* *heart* *heart* *heart*
Sigh, I could look into his eyes forever.

If you think I've got this weird thing for old, grumpy, sarcastic, incorrigible, laser-witted jerks, I beg to differ. I also like this guy.

He's not old. He's not grumpy. He's just a sarcastic, incorrigible, laser-witted jerk. *heart*

Let the downloading begin! :D

Hee hee...

Dear Dr.House,

I'm still crazy about you.
Really I am.

I still think you're the best character created for a TV series. *heart*

But of late, I've been distracted by another adorable man. Although 'man' isn't exactly what I can call him. He's like a cute Japanese stuffed toy in the flesh.

His name is Hiro Nakamura. And he's so kawaaiiiii I can't stand it. Words like 'lando slido'... and 'YATTAAAIIII'. Aiyo, so cute!

Jolie good.

Angelina Jolie.
I don't know what's the latest on her and Brad Pitt. Rumour has it that she's been in the arms of a watzisname ex-lover.

What I do know is, bee-stung lips aside,
she has a big, er, heart.

Sometimes I wish the magazines (not that I'm an avid reader of Hollywood goss, ahem) would write about other things apart from the she-and-brad-were-so-loud-the-next-hotel-room-thought-some-burglars-broke-in genre.

Why can't they tell us more about the nice stuff.
Like what she does in between movies (and ok, men).

First, she adopts Maddox, a little Cambodian boy, while filming Tomb Raider. Then she spent many days in the country, making sure other poor Cambodian children received the help they needed.

Now she's supporting another cause.

Here is her journal, written during and after a UHNCR visit to Sri Lanka. Where families and children are still reeling from decades of civil war and the recent tsunami.

It is quite a moving account.
And you get to see her as a person. Not just the sex-bomb of an actress, whose pout is enough to make men (and women) go weak.

True. She has time and resources on her side. But I believe in our own little way, we can do our bit. And right at our doorstep too.
