So she's another year older (and wiser).

May this year be less angst-ridden.
More make-up laden.
And of more kick-ass patents.

My oven's dead so I can't bake a cake in your honour.
So here's an imaginary one. I'll describe it in detail so you know what it could've, or would've been like. Ha ha! Now that's virtual baking!

A light, fluffy cheesecake.
Not too sweet. Not too rich.
Yet creamy, like Ipoh-putih skin.
The base is a buttery, crunchy layer of digestive crumbs.

It's topped with a strawberry cream mixture (of freshly whipped cream with pureed fresh strawberries and some icing sugar folded in).
Yes, you guessed it, it's PINK in colour.
With a fat little strawberry perched in the middle just because.

I call it Le Geeque de Fromage.
(It think it loosely translates to The Geek's Cheese.)

Hmm. That's sounds kinda wrong. Kinda very wrong.
