Some travelling to do...
Yay! It's Hong Kong next week with the company for a few days.
My first time to Hong Kong last year was totally enjoyable, and if it wasn't for CC's wedding, Hong Kong would not even have made it into my 'To Visit' list. Now I can't wait to fly there again.
Apart from that, no big trips this year. Maybe a short domestic holiday before the year is out. I'm really trying to save money (and earn some) to finance my bike.
Next year, however, LY and I are planning to have our annual chaboh vacation in Krabi, Thailand. Another 'maybe' holiday would be to Greece with YL and some ex-Burnetters, for PE's wedding. She got married recently in KL to her Greek boyfriend of 3 years, whose name I can't pronounce.
I missed her Chinese banquet, so I really don't want to miss her BigFat Greek Wedding. Really hope they have the whole "Yipppppaa!!" and plate smashing and the all night partying. And if, if I have enough time and money, I might just make a stop in London and watch Wicked and Les Miz! That would be a dream come true! I've never been to that part of the world!
Just to get a rough idea of my travel budget, I went looking around at a few websites. One of them being hotelreservations.com. It's really comprehensive, with links to hotels, motels, resorts, vacations rentals for destinations around the world.
It's pretty cool. I typed in every other random city I could think of (from Athens to Abu Dhabi to Surabaya to Vladivostok) in the search engine, and they all had something to offer. Their rates were also rather competitive and the special internet discounts were a bonus.
I'd probably try looking for a hotel from this website the next time I travel. Saw a few decent hotels for Krabi next year. Hmmmm. But that will have to wait until the time comes.
