Pangkor
It was a bit too short of a holiday.
But long enough to give me a sunburn (yeowch!).
And this despite the rain in the afternoons.
If we weren't grilling ourselves under the morning sun or stuffing our faces, we were having drinks and chatting at the room balcony.
The afternoon it rained, we ran to the little hut that housed the spa. I opted for an Ayurvedic massage. It probably wasn't the smartest thing to do because:
a) they poured warm oil all over me from head to toe. I felt like a marinating turkey.
b) it included a scrub - not knowing I got a sunburn in the morning, having my skin sloughed off with gritty ground cinnamon wasn't very pleasant at all.
In the evening, the sun would sink into the sea.
And you'd see silvery waves, fringed with gold.
Sigh.
It's been raining non-stop since I got back.
I think I'll go back to bed.
