Life is a punnet of strawberries.

In a punnet, you often get some really sweet juicy fruit. Some sour not so ripe ones. Some mushy over-ripe about-to-rot ones. And some funny shaped ones. Just like how life tends to throw us some good days and bad days and some in between. I wish I could just throw all my strawberries into a pot with sugar and make strawberry jam. That way, it's guaranteed to be sweet and decent tasting every day to the last drop.

But I guess that's it - life cannot be a jar of strawberry jam. Because unless we've tasted the not-so-nice strawberries, we can't appreciate the sweet ones. I only hope my not-so-nice strawberries won't give me the runs.

Anyway, it's been pretty quiet the past 2 weeks. Saw Tartuffe last weekend at Actors Studio and I felt so left out. Really miss being on stage with my ensemble gang. Had to gather all my restraint NOT to run up the stage and hump the dog (delightfully played by Nicole). It was a refreshing change watching from the audience. Great show, great show! Well done, guys!
